Know the Real Costs...
The Cost to our Environment
Did you know that most common forms of particle board used in traditional console manufacturing are treated with Urea Formaldehyde and that PVC edge banding is treated with chlorine?
Urea Formaldehyde is a toxic industrial chemical that’s used as a coating or adhesive for pressed wood-products and Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) is a common chlorinated plastic. Studies show that office furniture (including consoles), made of particle board and PVC, contain these man-made chemical dangers and are becoming very hazardous to our everyday health and environment. Due to their toxic nature, these consoles are not recyclable.
We can all change this direction!
In 2008 All Source will move from PVC edge banding over to ABS edge banding and will offer office consoles produced with certified 100% pre-consumer recycled wood fiber with no Urea Formaldehyde added during the manufacturing process.
The Cost of a Broken Container
The real cost of a broken container is far more than the purchase cost.
The Real Cost usually includes many of the following:
- Lost time for the driver and truck.
- The dispatchers time for solving the problem.
- Delivery costs for the new container.
- Lost revenue for shredding paper.
- Damage to your service, reputation, and security in the eyes of your customer.
- Your sales reps time mending any damage done.
- Disposal costs associated with the broken container.
- Liability exposure of any lost paper and the cost of replacing the container.
- Liability exposure of any injury to your employees or customers.
Avoid those unnecessary costs by using All Source, a high quality manufacturer that supplies high quality collection containers backed by full warranties that will save you time and money and potential damage to your reputation. Don’t create another expense; create a return on your investment!
The Cost to a Business’ Reputation
All companies and organizations, large and small, are faced with the need to securely manage and discard confidential documents. These include materials such as personnel records, customer files, price lists, sales figures and daily correspondence. Even internal materials can contain data that needs to remain private. Enterprises and institutions are also entrusted with information that is required to be treated with confidentiality. Customers, patients, applicants and employees all have the legal right to have their information guarded. This data can easily end up in the garbage if the proper security system is not implemented, leaving it legally available to anyone interested.
Trash has become the most accessible source of competitive and confidential data for business espionage professionals, making average companies the most vulnerable. Every establishment that throws out confidential and proprietary data without implementing a document destruction program, exposes itself to the growing risk of criminal and civil prosecution, along with risking loss of business.
Here at All Source we manufacture containers used to secure documents prior to destruction. All containers are engineered with an office friendly design, making integration into an office setting very simple.
Governments and regulators around the world continue to develop legislation to help protect individuals and businesses. But prevention is the best solution. Always maintain the highest level of security and reduce your risk of identity theft.
