off-site shredding
Off-site Shredding: Documents are removed from the client's location in secured containers and taken to a secured facility for destruction purposes.
How Off-site Shredding Works
It starts from the instant a company deposits their confidential papers in locked office consoles. Based on your pick-up service schedule, a service representative will transport the sensitive information to a secure truck parked outside where they will empty the consoles. The truck will then transport the materials to the shredding company's location where your paper will then be dropped in the secure receiving facility and shredded. All sensitive documents are destroyed the same day it was received.
A certificate of destruction is then issued and confirms the destruction of your confidential materials.
Not only are all your documents completely destroyed off-site but most of it is recyclable and eventually made into other paper products.
Benefits of Off-site Shredding:
- Off-site system procedures can offer unlimited capacity and high-speed shredding.
- Monitors sensitive materials from the moment they leave the building until they arrive at the shredding company’s location.
- Cost effective collection. Lower cost per collection hour than On Site operations.

- This can generate a second revenue stream from the marketing of the shredded paper. There is a higher return because of your ability to separate paper grades.
- The shredder can be offline for a period of time for repair. Paper is collected and stored during this time in your secured facility.
