On-site shredding (also called "Mobile Shredding") provides a document shredding service with a mobile shredding truck at the client's location.
How On-site Shredding Works
It starts from the instant a company deposits their confidential papers in locked office consoles. Based on your service schedule, a service representative will empty the consoles and transports sensitive information to a shredding truck parked outside. Materials are shredded in the truck, behind closed doors (some companies will allow you to witness your confidential documents being destroyed). A certificate of destruction is then issued immediately that confirms the destruction of your confidential materials.
Most state-of-the-art trucks can shred thousands of pounds of paper an hour. Not only are all your documents completely destroyed on-site but most of it is recyclable and eventually made into other paper products.
Benefits of on-site shredding:
No physical location is required. Basic resources needed include a truck and a cell phone to begin with.
On-site system procedures reduce risks and drawbacks by ensuring all confidential materials are destroyed on your premises by trained, bonded security professionals.
